Johnson & Wales University
During my time at Johnson & Wales University, where I earned a Bachelor's in Fashion Retailing & Merchandising with a minor in Cognitive Psychology, I made it a priority to seize every opportunity available. This proactive approach allowed me to gain extensive experience across various fields, equipping me with a versatile skill set essential for the professional world. From hands-on coursework like the retail fashion lab to leadership roles in organizations such as the Retail Preparedness Association and the travel club, I honed my abilities in management, marketing, event planning, and collaboration. These experiences prepared me to navigate the dynamic challenges of the fashion and retail industries with confidence and adaptability.

Retail Preparedness Association - President
As president of the Retail Preparedness Association, I focused on educating members about the multi-billion-dollar fashion industry. I led impactful projects such as organizing field visits to conferences like the NRF Conference in New York City and spearheaded fundraising initiatives to support the club's activities and growth.

3.8 GPA
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales University, achieving a 3.8 GPA through unwavering dedication to my studies. Over the course of my four years, I prioritized academic excellence and seized every opportunity to learn and grow. My commitment to hard work and making every moment count was vital to my success and shaped my ability to thrive in challenging environments.

Student Representative - Student Board for the College of Business
As a student representative on the student board for the College of Business at Johnson & Wales, I had the privilege of serving during a transitional period when Dean Meixell took leadership. She valued student perspectives and formed a board of ten members, including myself, after a competitive selection process. Over two years, I contributed to providing insights and advice that helped shape the college’s initiatives and priorities.

Retail Fashion Lab
During my junior year, I participated in a retail fashion lab designed to provide hands-on experience across various fields within the industry. This project-based course mimicked an internship, with two professors overseeing our work. We managed strict deadlines and juggled multiple projects on diverse topics simultaneously, preparing us for the fast-paced and multifaceted nature of the retail fashion world. The lab not only honed our time management and collaboration skills but also offered invaluable insights into real-world industry challenges.

Events Coordinator - JWU Travel Club
During my time as the events chair for my University's travel club, I was responsible for meticulously planning itineraries for trips and fundraisers, ensuring they stayed within budget, and presenting proposals to the University's appropriations committees. I also hosted and managed the trips, ensuring they ran seamlessly. Some of the successful trips I organized included a weekend in NYC and Washington D.C., day trips to Boston and Mystic, and walking tours of Providence for incoming freshmen.
